Eating Seasonally
Buying seasonally is a great way to explore different fruits and veg throughout the year which may not already be in your regular circulation.
Though the list above is general--and not exhaustive--of produce optimally grown and harvested in the spring, it'll obviously vary based on where you are in the country so I added a resource below where you can look it up.
The benefit of eating seasonally is that you get the fruit or veg at its most optimal freshness, taste and nutrient density, not to mention it's more sustainable. This doesn't mean they're unavailable or that you can't eat them during any other time of year, but the depth of flavor just won't compare when you eat it during its peak month.
It's also a great way to inspire a new recipes when you get bored of eating the same things all the time like I sometimes do.
A challenge for the next time you hit the grocery store or place that online order!
